But when I went to collect the spikes, the courier company, FedEx, said that you would have to pay PKR 68,000 in tax on these shoes. Those spikes cost PKR 55,000. I informed the authorities about this and complained."
According to the official report in the Times of Karachi, someone had sent shoes as a gift to help them. When she went to the courier company, she was asked for the tax amount. She was surprised to see such a high tax on the shoes she got as a gift. The report also includes the tax bill given to Aasra by the officials of the courier company.
