Objective Of Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP)

Answers to all the questions related to the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) are given below. This will make it easier for people to understand the main objective of the party.

Q: Will only the tribal community get tickets from the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP)?

A: Tickets will be given not only to the tribal community but also to people from other communities. But there is no high command in BAP; here the command is in the hands of the public, i.e., general command means the rule of the common people. The party will give tickets to those whom the general public selects through the tribal family selection system. Even after 75 years of independence, the Congress-BJP had not made any Muslim a Zilla Parishad member in Dungarpur, but the tribal family had done this.

Q: Will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) contest unreserved seats as well as seats reserved for the SC community?

A: Yes, we will fight strongly for those seats, but only the people there will decide the candidate for BAP.

Q: Will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) stake a claim to form the government and succeed in gathering a majority?

A: The party says that, like other regional parties, we will not make empty statements that we are coming to power with a full majority. But this time we are winning 15–20 seats in Rajasthan and will become the third-largest party in the state. But we assure you that we will become the largest party in the 2028 assembly elections. In this election, we will try our best to limit Congress-BJP to around 160–170 (85–75 or 90–80) seats so that we can renegotiate and take important departments like the Deputy Chief Minister and Home Ministry.

Q: Will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) be able to provide an alternative?

A: Yes, because the colleagues of Adivasi Parivar Sangathan had contested only a few seats in 2018, sent two MLAs to the Assembly, and lost some seats by very small margins. When the public got the option, they showed their strength and voted for our colleagues, even sending them to the Assembly. You see, when the tribal family gave the option to the public, for the first time after 75 years of independence, a person from the Muslim community became a Zilla Parishad member.

Apart from this, 13 Zilla Parishad members in Dungarpur were from tribal families, and when the district chief was seen to be from our tribal family, Congress and the BJP together installed the district chief of the BJP. This is the result of the public awareness of the tribal family: when the tribal family gave options to the people, the people there showed so much love that today in Southern Rajasthan we have 2 MLAs, 15 Zilla Parishad members, more than 100 Panchayat Samiti members, and more than 250 sarpanches and representatives in the colleges and universities here. Now that this tribal family social organization has formed its political organization, we have full hope that the public will see us as a better option and vote for us.

Q: Will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) only engage in politics of bargaining, coalition government, and pressure?

A: We have not come to do bargaining politics, but in this election we have limited resources and less time, so we will not be able to gain power on our own. We have come to fight for the tribal community as well as SC-OBC minorities and exploited, deprived, and oppressed people. We assure you that in the next five years we will also achieve the status of a national party. We have not come just to do the politics of bargaining, coalition government, and pressure, but have entered the field of politics as a horse in a long race.

Also remember one thing: if this time we are able to intervene in the government as a pressure group, then we will work in the same way as the regional parties who were part of the government in UPA-1 and UPA-2; it was because of them that the then During the tenure of the government, the government introduced many democratic policies like MNREGA, RTI, the Forest Rights Act of 2006, and the RTE Act of 2009. Therefore, if we work as a pressure group, we will work in the interest of the public and not in the interest of party leaders.

Q: What are the issues and programs on the agenda of the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP)? What is the roadmap to addressing these issues together?

A: Basic issues like reservation (as per the number, so is the share), the Fifth Schedule, the PESA Act, the Gram Sabha, water, forest, land-self-respect-rights, tribal religion code, education, employment, health, loan waivers for farmers, and caste census are included in our agenda. We all together will fight against minority-dalit-women oppression, remove the anomalies of OBC reservation, fight to save the Constitution of the country, and fight against the growing privatization and crony capitalism being spread by the RSS-BJP in Bhil Pradesh. We will end the hatred. Will fight for farmers and laborers and oppose UCC.

Apart from this, whatever local and national issues arise, we will stand with the general public by keeping democratic and progressive thinking in mind. Our tribal family organization and each of its members are our strength, and together with them, a roadmap in the form of public awareness, movement, and elections is ready for all these issues.

Q: Will the BJP benefit from the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) contesting elections? Will you only cut Congress votes?

A: The biggest thing is that those who oppose any new political party contesting elections insult the Indian Constitution. A multi-party system was created in the Indian Constitution, the purpose of which was that every resident of this country had the right to vote and choose their own representative. The Indian Constitution gives every Indian citizen the right to form his own political organization.

This right was given so that those who feel that there is no real representation of their community or ideology in the Assembly or Lok Sabha should form their own organization or party and work for the welfare of their people in their own way. During the British era, when Congress was established, it was opposed; when leftist ideology emerged, there was opposition; and when SP, RJD, BJD, JMM, Shiv Sena, TMC, NCP, AAP, BSP, NPP, and CPI (ML) Even when parties like BRS and DMK were established, they were considered vote-cutting parties, but today all these parties influence the politics of this country. Now that BAP has joined this chain, we will also intervene strongly in Indian politics. Also, if anyone has any problem with BAP or any other party contesting elections other than Congress-BJP, then the multi-party system should be abolished in this country, a two-party system should be implemented, and the country should be made a slave of Congress-BJP. So that they keep looting the country one by one.

Secondly, if any party suffers a loss due to our contesting elections, then that party should take care of its vote bank and stand strong on its core vote bank issues. That party itself should think about why its vote bank is leaving it aside and voting for us. In southern Rajasthan, which is considered to be the stronghold of the BJP, people from tribal families contested the elections on the symbol of BTP, and then the BJP got less profit but more loss.

Q: How many seats will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) contest?

A: We will contest more than 30 seats in the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections, but we will contest only those strong seats where we will be able to win and give a strong fight to the Congress-BJP. Our aim is to show our strength and not just satisfy our needs in the name of contesting elections. This time we will contest the elections with full strength and win. And in 2028, we will contest elections in all the seats of Rajasthan so that the people of Rajasthan get an option in the form of BAP as a third front.

Q: Will the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) contest elections in the tribal Meena community and SC-dominated eastern Rajasthan?

A: The Tribal Meena community had tried to show political strength through Rajpa (NPP) in the form of Dr. Kirori Lal Meena in 2013, during which Rajpa had won 4 assembly seats and stood second in many seats. If he had not merged Rajasthan's NPP with the BJP and expanded his organization, it was possible that in 2018, a tribal would have been sitting in the chair of Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister. If the people and leaders of the tribal Meena community of Eastern Rajasthan and the SC community, who are working to spread the message of Congress-BJP, leave the slavery of these two parties and support BAP, then we promise you that this time Rajasthan's Chief Minister will be a tribal. Rest assured, we will fight on those selected seats in East Rajasthan, where our allies will be in a strong position.

Q: Will the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) face a challenge from the Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP)?

A: BTP had no existence in Rajasthan. The tribal family had taken the symbol from BTP only for the elections. But after ideological differences arose, the members of the tribal family decided that they would form their own political organization. You can see for yourself that as soon as the tribal family left BTP, in the by-election held in Rajasthan, BTP got fewer votes than NOTA, and the candidate from the tribal family stood second and lost the election by just a few votes. BTP has been wiped out in the Gujarat elections and has no existence left in Rajasthan. Dilip Vasava, son of BTP patron Chhotu Bhai Vasava and brother of BTP national president Mahesh Bhai Vasava, is a member of the national executive of BAP. Therefore, whatever is there in Rajasthan now is BAP.

Q: What is the ideology of the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP)?

A: We will work on naturalist, constitutionalist, democratic, and progressive ideas. We have come out to save the country; we have come out to save the water, forest, land-self-respect-rights of the tribals. Come and come with us. We have set out to save the Constitution; come join us. We have set out to save Dalits, Muslims, and OBCs. Come and join us. We have set out to save the farmers and laborers; come join us. We have set out to save democracy; come join us.
