- 1. Take leave from your Government job - This is the easiest way to do B.Ed while doing a government job. For this, you have to apply for leave of absence from the employer of the department in which you are working. After applying, you will not get the salary for the time you go on leave. But before going on study leave, make sure that your job is secure when you return.
- 2. Do B.Ed part-time - There are many B.Ed colleges which offer part time programs. This method allows you to continue working while studying. However, it may take you longer to complete your degree.
- 3. Distance Learning - Distance learning may be suitable for people who are working full time, have family problems, or live in remote areas. Distance learning allows you to choose when and where you study, making it a great option for those who want to combine their B.Ed studies with a job or other commitments.
- 4. Get No Objection Certificate (NOC) - If you are already employed in a government job, you will need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer. Contact your HR department or the concerned authority to understand the process of obtaining NOC.
- 5. Correspondence Course - Correspondence is a part of distance education. The only difference between the correspondence B.Ed course and the traditional on-campus B.Ed courses is the coursework. In B.Ed correspondence course, students receive their syllabus through mail or online. Students in this course will also have access to online resources such as discussion forums and chat rooms where they can interact with their professors and classmates. It can also be called "getting a degree sitting at home."
- To do B.Ed from open and distance, now BSTC / D.El.Ed / or any diploma degree required for primary teacher will have to be done face to face i.e. regular mode. After this, most universities also consider it necessary to be in teaching work or have teaching experience for B.Ed.
- Only those who have done BSTC can do B.Ed through correspondence.
- Different universities have different terms and conditions.
- Primary teacher in education department can do B.Ed from any open university and people of other department can do B.Ed by staying in non payment service for 2 years means you can do B.Ed without salary for 2 years.
