The Censor Board has sent Akshay Kumar's film "Oh My God 2" back to the review committee

Film: The Akshay Kumar starrer film, to be released worldwide on 11 August 2023, is mired in controversies. Because the censor board has sent Akshay's film 'OMG 2' back to the review committee. It is being said that some scenes and dialogues in the film are objectionable. Akshay Kumar's film is a sequel to 2012's Oh My God, and the film is scheduled to release on August 11.

The Censor Board again sent this film to the Review Committee because the Censor Board has taken such a decision because of the controversy over the film Adipurush which was released some time ago. Keeping in view the controversy of the film 'Adipurush', the censor board is looking very cautious with Akshay Kumar's film. He does not want any kind of controversy on the film, so it has been sent to the review committee again.



A source told India Today that the film has been sent to the review committee so that there is no controversy over dialogues and scenes. The way people's sentiments have been hurt about 'Adipurush', this film should not do the same. And the subject of the film is related to God, so it has to be reviewed more carefully.


Ever since the trailer of the film was released, it has been surrounded by controversies. Akshay is seen as Lord Shiva. In such a situation, the sentiments of many people have been hurt. Some people have objected to a scene. They say that Rudrabhishek has been done to Shiva with the water of the railway. However, till now it is not clear which scene or dialogue is being objected to. After the review, when the film comes back to the Censor Board, further decision will be taken on it.




Let us tell you that this film is a sequel to the 2012 film 'OMG- Oh My God', in which Akshay Kumar played the role of Lord Krishna. Paresh Rawal played the character of Kanjilal Mehta, an atheist who filed a case against God. This time Akshay is going to be seen as Lord Shiva. Arun Govil will play the role of Ram in the film.
